Summit Stairlifts
Med-Response has recently begun to install Summit Stairlifts in our area. A stairway lift is a piece of equipment which can be installed on an existing staircase, allowing a patient with mobility impairments to move from one level to another with ease. Med-Response has employees who are factory certified to install this equipment.
The lift consists of a
motorized chair which travels on a specially made rail. The rail and chair are
installed on an existing staircase. When not in use, the lift folds to a width
of 14 in., allowing for normal use of the stairs.
