Med-Response has its own freestanding repair center located in our Bluefield, Virginia location. Our repair center is called Med-Repair and the Director of Med-Repair is Randy Gibson. Randy has been with Med-Response since February of 1985.

Med-Repair has completed the Silver Certification through the MedGroup, which is a program which gives them access to purchasing discounts on parts as well as certification for repairing certain types of home medical equipment.
Med-Repair has set up a
preventative maintenance program on many items that Med-Response rents on a regular basis. This program has been significant in reducing problems that may occur with equipment. By setting up a schedule to perform certain maintenance procedures on our rental equipment, such as oxygen concentrators, we have been able to determine through a benchmarking process that our "down time" on this equipment has been greatly reduced.
The training in Med-Repair is an on-going process that includes manufacturers'
training as well as seminars that are available through various industry
sources.
