Our
Respiratory Care Practitioners will instruct the patient on the proper and
safe use of all equipment. Follow-up visits are made to those patients
with respiratory equipment. These regular contacts ensure that

Carolyn Gaither Hale: CRT, Director of Clinical Services
Carolyn Gaither Hale has worked for Med-Response since 1980. She has an Associate of Science degree in Respiratory Therapy from Bluefield State College, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Science and Psychology from Bluefield State and a Master of Science degree in Community Health Education from West Virginia University School of Medicine. She is licensed in Virginia and West Virginia and has 24 years of experience. Carolyn is the Director of Clinical Services at Med-Response. She not only oversees the Clinical Department but sets policies and procedures, provides education to our local referral sources on new services and equipment, and is the Marketing Representative for the Bluefield and Princeton regions that Med-Response serves.
Cynthia Callendar - LPN:
Cynthia Callendar has worked for Med-Response since 1989. She covers the McDowell and Wyoming County regions for the Welch Branch. She is a licensed LPN in both Virginia and West Virginia. She states that home health care is exciting because it deals with patients and families in their home environment. She wants to help improve the quality of life for her patients by providing them with the best in-home respiratory care services possible. She enjoys working with Med-Response because we take care of the patient and family, treating them with courtesy, professionalism, and respect.
Sabrina Gibson - CRT
Sabrina Gibson has worked for Med-Response since 1991. She received her Associate of Science Degree in Respiratory care from California College of Health Sciences. She has been certified as a respiratory care practitioner since 1992. She is licensed in Virginia and West Virginia. She states that she enjoys working in home care because it gives one an in-depth insight into how a respiratory disease affects the patient's everyday life. She says that Med-Response is a wonderful company that really strives to provide the best possible patient care.
